GOD IS SO GOOD

Greetings everyone,

I feel like singing a song , ready?  ♪ ♫ God is so good, God is so good, God is so good . He's so good to me. He answers prayer, He answers prayer, He answers prayer, He so good to me. ♪ ♫. Well,  there is more to the song but I was afraid that my voice might be hurting your ears (ha ha).

Well, I went for my chemo on Monday (the 28th). It went very well, and today I feel as if I never had any chemo at all. I do feel tired today, but that is all I am experiencing thus far. I had a small consultation with the nurse before my chemo. She proceeded to tell me that my white blood cell count was sky high. It was double the normal levels. Wow, I was surprised . Then she told me because of the high levels I would not need to take any of the Neupogen shots. Which I was glad for because the shots were giving me shooting and pulsating pains through my body. The shots help to increase the blood count.  I know it was God that made my blood count rise because it has never happened before. I have taken the shots many, many times before.

I was also able to get a flu shot while I was there. That was another huge blessing from God. If my blood count was not high I probably would not have been able to get the shot.

I am so thankful for a God who loves us and cares for us the way He does. He is a faithful God and will never leave us or forsake us. I must, and will, give Him all the glory for everything that has been happening with my cancer. Knowing Christ allows me to face tomorrow and anything else that may come my way.

Please keep praying for me. My last chemo is Tuesday , December 13th . Thank you so much for your prayers, and concern for me. I am very thankful for my family, my church family, and my wonderful friends.

Please take care and know that your are in my thoughts and prayers.
With love and Because of Christ,
Mrs. Beam (Barbara)

I thought you might enjoy this picture . I enjoy wearing different hats. It makes the experience of not having  very much hair more exciting.  Hope you have a great ChristX  ( I like to cross out the mas part instead of the Christ part).
